Ken graduated from the University of Kentucky and was a pilot in the Air Force with the rank of Major. He earned his MBA from Xavier University and an honorary doctorate from NKU. Ken spent 32 years in the financial planning industry. As an active planner he held Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter degrees. In 1999 he was elected as U.S. Representative from Kentucky’s 4th congressional district. He term-limited himself to six years as he considered himself a citizen legislator. Always active in the community, he is past chairman of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and regent emeritus of Northern Kentucky University having served 21 years in that capacity. He enjoys being involved with Legacy Financial as he watches the business progress and grow with its ever-expanding client list.
